This is an interesting image I found while browsing pictures of nature.
If you take a closer look, the hollow area in the rock which we would call a cave, was actually formed due to weathering of the rock by water from the direction of the ocean- which is important to mention because the specific shape of the hollowed area and the angle that the hollow region was formed suggests that water was directed at the solid rock that once stood there with an almighty force... something we'd call a monster wave. It's hard to imagine the heights that such waves would have had to reach as well as the enormous amounts of time required to cause such weathering-but indeed this did happen. Seems like a really long time ago. Also consider, such weathering took place over an extended period of time- clearly millions of years.
Nature is truly marvelous. I would love living there close to nature, enjoying the the view of the ocean.
